APPOINTMENTS

Nevada Contractors names 2009 officers

The Nevada Contractors Association, a nonprofit industry trade group, named Mike Olson of Olson Precast Co. as its 2009 chairman.

Brent Conrad of Werdco B.C. is vice chairman and Perini Building Co.'s Travis Burton is secretary/treasurer.

Industry group names new chairman

The Nevada State Contractors' Board named Guy Wells chairman. Wells currently serves as president and chief executive officer of Wells Cargo Inc., a 73-year-old family owned general engineering and contracting company based in Las Vegas.

Panattoni named Developer of the Year

Ben Campbell, development manager for the Las Vegas division of Panattoni Development Co., announced the company was awarded the 2008 People's Choice Developer of the Year award.

The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Nevada Chapter presented its 2008 awards to chapter members and corporate sponsors at the holiday party at the Blue Martini located at Town Square.
