Realtor to offer bus tour, free massages

Las Vegas Realtor Mike Ray has teamed up with a local chiropractor for the first Health, Wealth and Wellness Foreclosure Bus Tour. While the bus tour will show area foreclosed homes, the local chiropractor will give riders tips on handling stress and will provide free massages afterwards. The bus tour will be held at 10 a.m. and leave from the northeast corner of Charleston Boulevard and Town Center Drive. For more information, call 526-5329.

Glendale to hold Halloween event

The Glendale Corn Maze will be held through Oct. 31 at the Las Vegas outlying community. Visitors can tour the developing area and tour the crop-circle style corn maze that is made into the shape of a fire truck and measures 700 by 700 feet. It will also include barbecue and entertainment.

The admission prices, which include the entrance to the haunted corn maze, are $12 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and younger. The band Evenflow will play on Halloween night. Bring a can of food to donate to the poor and receive a dollar off admission prices.

Hours are 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For more information call Beverly or Penny at 864-2288 or visit glendalecornmaze.com.Group discounts are available. Call for an appointment for weekend visits.

The corn maze theme was born out of the April 10 fire that wiped out the Broken Spoke Saloon and Restaurant. A new bar and restaurant is planned for next year. The community will offer new single-family homes in two years.
