Prudential to hold seminar on short sales
Prudential Americana CEO Mark Stark will host a free public seminar on short sales in the Las Vegas real estate market April 24 at 3 p.m. at the Red Rock Casino Resort, conference room Red Rock G, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd.
According to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors' March report, more than 50 percent of home sales in the Las Vegas market are short sales and foreclosures. Short sales have become increasingly popular in a city where many homeowners are now faced with the challenge of selling their homes for far less than their purchase prices just a few years ago, Stark said.
The event will educate the public on short sales and the options they offer to homeowners as well as home buyers, including how to properly price and position homes within their neighborhood. Stark, the chief executive officer, and other real estate professionals will answer questions.
Prudential Americana is one of the largest residential real estate companies in Nevada and Stark, who has worked in Las Vegas real estate for nearly 25 years.
The event is sponsored by Prudential Americana Group, Countrywide and Equity Title of Nevada.
