Sun City Aliante To Hold Fair, Octoberfest

Sun City Aliante, a Del Webb age-qualified community, will hold its Arts and Crafts Fair & Octoberfest Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include food and arts and crafts vendors, free show tickets, raffle and German food and music. The event will be held in the Sun City Aliante Community Center at 7490 Aliante Parkway 89084, one block north of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway on Aliante Parkway. There is no admission charge and there is plenty of free parking. For more information, call 638-5065.

NVAR honors Fafie Moore's achievements

The Nevada Association of Realtors recognized Fafie Moore with the Realtor Achievement Award at its annual Installation of officers and awards ceremony Sept. 27. The award recognizes Moore's civic activism and dedication to the real estate industry and professional success.

Moore was given the award for her 20 years of commitment to advancing the real estate profession.

She has served nine terms on the NVAR board of directors, chaired committees and sat on the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce board of directors, including being the chair-elect, all while running a successful firm.

Moore and her husband, Jeff, own Realty Executives in Las Vegas.

The NVAR is a professional trade association with more than 20,000 members.
