Red Rock Realty completes move
Red Rock Realty has set its roots.
The locally owned real estate firm recently purchased and completed a move to its new location in the Siena Garden office park. The firm will occupy the second floor of 10789 W. Twain Ave. in the Summerlin community.
Bob Barnhart, president of the firm, and his wife, Jill, said the purchase of the office was important as an investment in the community.
"All of us at Red Rock Realty are highly optimistic about Las Vegas -- in every facet," Bob Barnhart said. "The city has arrived on the world stage not only as one of the premier destinations, but as a place to live and work. People of all backgrounds are coming here to make their fortune and enjoy the dynamics of this amazing city."
He added that the move was important symbolically to show the company's commitment to the community and its future. Under the Red Rock Realty name, the Barnharts have enjoyed growing success every year, culminating in the past spring, when they sold three luxury homes averaging more than $10 million in fewer than 60 days.
Yet Barnhart believes the best is still to come and has positioned his company both physically and professionally for the city's next great metamorphosis.
"Las Vegas is a city of extremes and extravagance, a place where movers and shakers from all over come to create world-famous ventures in entertainment, hospitality and living," he said. "As the Strip pushes the envelope with ever more opulent resorts and other properties, the residential component keeps apace.
"It is our role to help that new generation of residents, the people who will help define what our city will become, to help them find their place within our community."
Red Rock Realty specializes in the city's most luxurious estate homes along golf courses throughout the Las Vegas Valley, as well as the growing high-rise condominium market.
The company's business model reflects its values. In everything they do, the Barnharts believe in bringing celebrity, charity and excitement, including their open houses, which take on the air of a gala benefit in an exclusive club. Clients not only meet potential buyers and sellers, but get to enjoy a memorable evening with the elite of Las Vegas while supporting the community.
Past events have included the Red Cross Hurricane Katrina fundraiser, Toys for Tots drive, Nevada Women's Philanthropic and The Women's Heart Association. All proceeds go to the local nonprofit causes.
"Las Vegas is an integral part of who we are as a company," Barnhart said. "While we see the city's bright economic future and want to stay a part of it, we also view it through the eyes of longtime residents who at one time came here only with a dream. The purchase of our new office is symbolic of our overall dedication to the welfare of the community, from the elite who envision the next big thing to the hard-working people who make it all possible."
