Klaich to serve on the National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity
Washington, D.C.—Nevada Senator Harry Reid today announced today his appointment of Dan Klaich, the Chancellor of the Nevada System of Higher Education, to a federal advisory board that advises the Secretary of Education on the accreditation and certification process for institutions of higher education. The board meets biannually in Washington with the Secretary of Education.
“Chancellor Klaich is a product of the University of Nevada and represents the quality of our state’s institutions of higher education,” said Reid. “I am confident that, with the chancellor’s background and experience, he will provide an important perspective and be a valuable member of the committee.”
