Reid still no fan of Bill Frist…..

Sen. Harry Reid has never made it a secret that he believed Sen. Bill Frist was in a bit over his head when the Tennessee Republican ran the Senate as majority leader from 2003 until 2007.

Reid, the current majority leader, shared some of this disdain with Terrence Samuel, a former congressional reporter for U.S. News & World Report, in a new book Samuel has coming out later this month.

By contrast, Reid has respect for the current Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

"He does have some understanding of the institution, which I appreciate," Reid is quoted as saying. "One reason our relationship is as good as it is, is that I know that he understands the institution. Bill Frist did not."
