Reid talks geothermal

In a show of support for geothermal, Sen. Harry Reid ventured to New York today to speak to the Geothermal Energy Association's Finance Forum.

Reid, a major booster of renewables, told industry executives he expects the Senate will take up climate change legislation this spring, and he would try to use the bill as a vehicle to approve more federal research and more generous tax credits for geothermal development.
