Reid “will consider full record” on controversial judge

In response to a query about that television ad running this week in Nevada urging Sen. Harry Reid to block a promotion for controversial Judge Robert Chatigny, Reid spokesman Jon Summers sent over a note:

"Due to Republicans' unprecedented obstructionism of all of the president's judicial nominees, Sen. Reid has not yet had an opportunity to vote on Judge Chatigny's nomination or on any of the 15 judges whose nominations are pending ahead of his. If his nomination is allowed to come to the floor, Sen. Reid will consider Judge Chatigny's full record in deciding whether to vote to confirm him."
