Rhodes collections start at $80 per square foot

Rhodes Homes' Tuscany Residential Village in Henderson is offering homes in its Melani Collection starting at $80 per square foot and houses in its Terrazzo Collection starting at $95 per square foot. Some homes are ready for immediate occupancy.

"If you are interested in a larger home, the final remaining residences at Terrazzo are among the best values in Tuscany," sales agent Michael Blevens said. "These homes range in size from 2,547 to 4,138 square feet and have incredibly low prices. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get the home of your dreams for an incredible value."

Terrazzo homes, which are the largest in the community, start at $349,990. There are only a few left and all are completed. Still, most allow homebuyers to make their flooring selections. Each residence includes granite kitchen countertops, a double oven, five-burner countertop stove, built-in microwave oven and kitchen island. Many homes feature a loft retreat in the master bedroom and casita.

"Nearly all of Terrazzo's homes include a three-car garage and they are all located on a 5,000-square-foot home site," Blevens said. "Many also have three air-conditioning units, providing better energy efficiency by breaking down the home into three separate temperature zones."

Las Vegas-based Rhodes Homes spared no details when building Terrazzo's final homes, according to Blevens.

"Brushed nickel, designer faucets, 40-inch kitchen cabinets and ceramic-tile entries are only some of the features in these homes," he said. "Some are located with views of the community and surrounding mountains, but they won't be available for long."

The guard-gated community features an award-winning golf course, as well as a 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana.

La Vita Tuscana offers private and group exercise classes, events and live music on select Friday nights by the pool. The center features a living-room-style great room with a large fireplace, flat-screen television, overstuffed couches and chairs and tables for reading, chatting or a game of cards. Professional instructors host lessons in kickboxing, dance and Pilates in the exercise room while the comprehensive fitness center houses equipment. Two racquetball courts and a full-size basketball gymnasium round out the center's indoor sports activities. Outside is a regulation-lap pool, basketball court and tennis courts.

Other amenities exclusive to residents of Tuscany include walking trails, open outdoor spaces and a playground for children.

Monthly homeowners association fees average $145 a month and residents receive 50 channels of basic cable television along with the golf course, recreation center and guard-gated entrance.

The centerpiece of the community is the Tuscany Golf Club, designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson Jr. The 6,906-yard, par 72 course was named Golf Magazine's No. 1 Golf Course in Las Vegas in its annual BBQ (Bang for the Buck Quotient) rankings. Tuscany residents receive special discounted daily rates and annual packages at the golf course.

To visit, take Lake Mead Drive in Henderson and pass Boulder Highway heading east. Look for the signs to Tuscany and turn left on Mohawk Drive. Follow the signs to main entrance. Tuscany's sales office is located in the La Vita Tuscana recreation center.
