Rhodes cuts cost for buyers

Rhodes Homes has unveiled new prices for three floor plans in The Irons located in Rhodes Ranch, a master-planned community in the southwestern valley.

"With the new pricing, they (the new homes) are unbeatable. You will not find a better value for new homes in this blossoming area of the city," said Rhodes Ranch sales agent DeAnna Forsyth.

Once considered the outskirts of the city, the Rhodes Ranch's location has become convenient and central to new area residents, Forsyth said. Located between Durango Drive and Ft. Apache Road just south of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, homeowners are just minutes away from the Strip, major shopping areas and business districts.

"And there are even more conveniences inside the gates with exclusive access to a 35,000-square-foot recreation center, the Fun Zone Water Park, a world-class golf course and miles of walking areas," Forsyth said. "Even with all the amenities, homes at The Irons are competitively priced among similar sized homes without any additional offerings."

Now starting at just $214,990, The Irons' three floor plans range in size from 1,467 to 1931 square feet. The single-story designs include Residence 1467, named for its square footage, with three bedrooms, two baths and great room.

Residence 1611 features four bedrooms, two baths, great room and walk-in closet in the third bedroom.

Residence 1931, which is not modeled, includes three bedrooms, two baths, living room, family room and two walk-in closets in the master bedroom. All three homes are offered with media niches and two-car garages.

"Single-story homes are very popular because they create an open feeling with taller ceilings and eliminate any trouble for those who can't climb stairs," Forsyth said. "At The Irons, vaulted ceilings create an especially dramatic effect. I invite anyone who is looking for a new home to visit our models and see them in person."

Vaulted ceilings in The Irons span as high as 15 feet in some rooms.

As residents of the Rhodes Ranch master plan, The Irons homeowners have access to the 35,000-square-foot R Club recreation center with dozens of indoor and outdoor activities.

This summer, the community's Fun Zone water park will be the hottest place to cool off.

The largest water park of its kind in the city, the Fun Zone is a 13,000-square-foot lagoon pool with wading areas and a 10,000-square-foot water park that boasts three speed slides, five kid slides, rope bridges and multiple squirt gun stations.

Located adjacent to the community's R Club, it also includes a 25-meter lap pool, two eight-person spas, a 12-person group spa, four large covered cabanas, one exterior lighted basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, four lighted tennis courts and a children's playground with activity structures.

Standard features in all homes at The Irons include finished garages, ceiling fans prewiring in all bedrooms and common rooms, decorative 61/2-inch baseboards, rocker switches in all rooms and phone and cable outlets in all bedrooms and common rooms.

Residence 1931 includes a kitchen with a food-preparation island. Other homes may feature Beech cabinetry with crown molding, recessed lighting, kitchen pantries and breakfast nooks.

The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club was designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson. The par-72 course was named a Best Value by Vegas Golfer magazine.

Rhodes Homes has built more than 6,000 homes in the valley during the past two decades and is currently developing 16 neighborhoods throughout the city.

To visit The Irons at Rhodes Ranch, take I-215 to Durango Drive and go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
