Rhodes Homes golf courses swing into to spring

Spring is in full swing and golfers at the Rhodes Ranch and Tuscany communities are dusting off their clubs and looking to play at a few rounds.

Rhodes Homes features two Ted Robinson Jr.-designed courses located in two master-planned communities -- Rhodes Ranch in southwestern Las Vegas and Tuscany Residential Village in Henderson.

"Rhodes Homes is a local home builder, so both the Rhodes Ranch and Tuscany Golf Clubs show their appreciation for local golfers," said Steve Butler, general manager of both clubs.

"Our courses are two of the only facilities in Las Vegas that do not charge local residents to belong to a loyalty program. As a member of our program, Las Vegas residents get our lowest rates and receive e-mails for deeper discounts and information on all our upcoming events."

The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club is a par-72 course with lush landscaping and was named a "Best Value" by Vegas Golfer magazine. Since opening in 1997, this course has gained a reputation as one of the best-conditioned golf courses in Las Vegas.

It is highlighted by a group of par threes Robinson once called "the very best" he had ever designed. The course spans 6,909 yards from the back tees and includes a vast array of water features, elevations, city and mountain views and rolling fairways that spread across the 162-acre property. Rates are as low as $50 per player.

"For residents of the community, the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club has become more than just a great course, but also a place to socialize and develop lifelong friendships," Butler said.

Our clubhouse offers a first-class menu for both dining here and home delivery to residents. We are also one of the busiest wedding destinations in Las Vegas, with full-service catering for virtually any sized event."

Across the valley in Henderson, the Tuscany Golf Club is making its own reputation with sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Mead and Southern Nevada mountain ranges.

This 6,906-yard course includes 68 white-sand bunkers and water hazards. Tuscany Golf Club tests the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers.

Tuscany Golf Club has received numerous awards, including Golf Magazine's No. 1 Golf Course in Las Vegas in its annual BBQ (Bang for the Buck Quotient) rankings. Nevada Magazine named it the best golf course in Southern Nevada and Vegas Golfer named it the "Best Value Course" of 2008. Tuscany residents receive special discounted daily rates and annual packages at the golf course.

"Any golfers looking for a new home should stop by Rhodes Ranch and Tuscany Residential Village to find out how you can build your dream home overlooking two of the best courses in Las Vegas," Butler said. "There is nothing better than waking up every morning with a view of a rolling fairway, sand bunker, or expertly designed water feature."

Rhodes Homes has built more than 6,000 homes in the Las Vegas Valley during the past two decades and is currently developing dozens of neighborhoods throughout the area.
