Rhodes Homes releases Palms Bay lots overlooking golf-course greens
February 24, 2008 - 10:00 pm
Palms Bay at the Rhodes Ranch master-planned community in the southwestern valley recently released a new phase of home sites as well as two specially priced lots overlooking Rhodes Ranch Golf Club, according to the builder.
"We are continuing to build these perfectly designed homes and now have 12 new home sites in a fantastic location," sales agent Lark Lowry said. "An additional two oversized lots were also recently released and overlook the 11th hole of the golf course. The views are incredible from these two locations, with residents able to see not only the course and lakes on it, but the mountains as well."
Two floor plans are offered with 2,033 and 2,400 square feet, respectively. The homes are named for their square footage and both designs include 21/2 baths, upstairs laundry room, large walk-in master closet and two-car garage.
Plan 2033, a three-bedroom home, is an open floor plan with a great room that opens to the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen features a walk-in pantry and island.
Upstairs, Plan 2033's master bedroom encompasses nearly half of the second floor, beginning with French doors to a room large enough for a separate retreat. The master bath includes two sinks, and the walk-in closet is nearly the size of the third bedroom.
"This is truly a master suite designed to help erase the stresses of the day and provide a peaceful retreat," Lowry said. "The master closet is by far the most popular feature of the home. It is rare to find this much space in a home this size."
Plan 2400 includes four bedrooms.
"This floor plan includes a separate family room, which has been its most popular feature. It allows homeowners the ability to create separate spaces for dining and entertaining instead of using a great room," Lowry said.
Both models are offered with oversized two-car garages, giving residents a place to store athletic equipment, holiday decorations and toys.
"For a limited time, Rhodes Homes is offering up to $30,000 in incentives, so now is a great time to stop by and check out the models," Lowry said.
Builder's incentives can be applied towards closing costs, upgrades and options, she said.
"They can also be used to buy down the interest rate on the home if you use our in-house lender," Lowry said.
Standard features with all homes in Palms Bay include finished garages; prewiring for ceiling fans, cable and phone in all bedrooms and common rooms; audio system prewiring in the great room; rocker switches in all rooms; gas stubs for outdoor kitchens; exterior holiday light outlets; and 9-foot ceilings downstairs. Palms Bay is an Energy Star-certified neighborhood.
Rhodes Homes has built more than 6,000 homes in the Las Vegas Valley during the past two decades and is developing 16 neighborhoods throughout the area.
The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club was designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson. The par-72 course was named a Best Value by Vegas Golfer magazine.
Prices at Palms Bay start in the mid-$300,000s.
