Rhodes Ranch features water park

The Rhodes Ranch Fun Zone Water Park is now open during these warm days.

"It is a feature unique to Rhodes Ranch," said Taylor Smith, sales agent at Rhodes Ranch. "First time visitors can't believe that they get the water park, lap pools, a monster sized lagoon pool and a huge recreation center with indoor basketball courts, for free, just for being a resident of Rhodes Ranch."

According to Smith, the unique blend of home values and recreational offerings at Rhodes Ranch has helped it remain a top-selling community. "Our residents love the amenities," Smith said. "Our new even more affordable pricing makes values that much better."

Located on about 10 acres within the R-Club recreation center, it includes a 13,000-square-foot lagoon pool with wading areas, a 10,000-square-foot water park with three speed slides, five kid slides, rope bridges, multiple squirt gun stations and an oversized water bucket that fills and tips over every five minutes.

It also includes a 25-meter lap pool, two eight-person spas, a 12-person group spa, four large covered cabanas, one exterior lighted basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, four lighted tennis courts and a children's playground with activity structures.

"For a change of pace, the indoor activities can't be beat," Smith said. "From the fitness center, basketball court and racquetball courts to the billiards room and children's activity center, every resident has an opportunity to pursue something that interests them."

The 35,000-square-foot center includes a great room with multiple seating areas, a baby grand piano and a large television viewing area. Daily card games and fitness classes are offered.

"Fitness is an important part of our residents' lives, so the R-Club includes an indoor workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, a full-length basketball court and two racquetball/handball courts," Smith said. Residents can participate in a variety of group classes including Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, total body conditioning and circuit training in its group exercise room. Personal trainers are available by appointment.

"In addition to the fantastic amenities for families, residents have access to the award-winning Rhodes Ranch golf club as well as miles of walking paths right outside their front doors every day," Smith said.

The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club was designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson and the par-72 course was named a "Best Value" by Vegas Golfer magazine.

To visit Rhodes Ranch, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive, and then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway. Head west through the gates and follow the signs to the sales office. The Rhodes Ranch sales office is located adjacent to the Fun Zone Water Park and R-Club recreation center.

It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily For more information, call 740-4111 or visit rhodeshomes.com.
