Rhodes to re-open West 57th

West 57th, a neighborhood in southwestern Las Vegas, is getting a makeover courtesy of Rhodes Homes. The developer re-opened West 57th and is now offering three floor plans with prices starting under $200,000.

"West 57th will be home to three of our best-selling floor plans and we expect them to be just as popular as they are in Rhodes Ranch at The Greens," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Rhodes Homes. "These floor plans were so popular at The Greens that our first phase releases sold out within a matter of months."

The floor plans range from 1,534 to 1,841 square feet and are each offered with three bedrooms, 21/2 baths, living room, dining room and a two-car garage.

Residence 1534, named for its square footage, also includes an upstairs laundry room.

Residence 1734 includes a loft and formal entry.

The Greens' largest floor plan, Residence 1841, includes loft, kitchen island, upstairs laundry room and a master retreat.

According to Soucie, The Greens' most popular design has been Residence 1841.

"Residence 1841 is a very open plan and the spaces flow well with each other," he said. "The kitchen island is standard and overlooks the living and dining rooms. It gives residents the opportunity to talk with people in other rooms while they are in the kitchen."

Standard features in homes at West 57th include finished garages, a barbecue stub in the rear yard and raised panel entry doors. Inside, homes include kitchen pantries, crown molding in the kitchens, custom rounded corners and prewiring for cable, phone, ceiling fans and alarms.

"West 57th is perfectly situated in the heart of southwest Las Vegas near shopping, dining, Southern Hills Hospital and the new Bishop Gorman High School," Soucie said. "It is small enough for residents to know their neighbors while being developed by the largest private builder in Las Vegas. This ensures each resident will have the luxury of Rhodes Homes' customer service and quality craftsmanship in a boutique neighborhood."

Rhodes Homes furthers its reputation of providing upgrades as standard features at West 57th. Standard features with each home include raised panel doors with levered hardware in a chrome finish, prewiring for an alarm system and prewiring for a barbecue stub in the rear yard.

West 57th is also wired for the digital world with every room featuring prewiring for ceiling fans, cable television and phone all in one location. The homes are Energy Star compliant and include dual-pane low-e windows, 13 SEER air-conditioning units, programmable thermostats and blown-in cellulose insulation.

New pricing and floor plans at West 57th become effective this weekend. For a tour of West 57th's new model homes, visit the Rhodes Ranch sales center. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. For details and directions, call 740-4111 or visit rhodeshomes.com.
