Rhodes touts Pacific Mist pricing

Rhodes Homes has announced a new pricing structure on homes in its Pacific Mist neighborhood in the Rhodes Ranch master plan in the southwestern valley.

"We have the distinct advantage of being a privately owned builder that also owns its own land," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Rhodes Homes.

"That gives us the opportunity to determine our own pricing structures and offer even better values when we can," he said.

At Pacific Mist, all three of the neighborhood's floor plans have new pricing.

Plan 1720, named for its square footage, is now being offered with pricing starting at $259,000.

The two-story home features three bedrooms and 21/2 baths.

Its cathedral ceilings upstairs in the master bedroom and loft offer an open feeling and multiple pot shelves give homeowners a place to display art and antiques.

Plan 1832 is now being offered with pricing starting at $269,000. This home includes four bedrooms, 21/2 baths and an optional loft or master retreat in place of the fourth bedroom. Its centrally located kitchen includes a standard island with a sink, dishwasher and food preparation area. A butler's pantry offers residents additional kitchen storage space.

Pacific Mist's largest home is 2,255 square feet and is priced at $295,000. It includes four bedrooms and three baths with one bedroom and full bath located on the first floor. It features a standard island in the kitchen and master closet "that is nearly half the size of a regular bedroom," Soucie said.

All three floor plans are offered with a media niche, upstairs laundry room and two-car garage.

"We also offer three choices of exterior styling, or elevation, on each home at Pacific Mist," Soucie said. "The elevations give home buyers an opportunity to further personalize their home and even choose some stone accents with certain plans."

Standard features in homes at Pacific Mist include finished garages, a barbecue stub in the rear yards and raised-panel entry doors. Inside, the homes include kitchen pantries, crown molding in the kitchens, custom rounded corners and prewiring for cable, phone, ceiling fans and alarms.

All homes meet or exceed Energy Star standards with features such as blown-in cellulose insulation, low-e vinyl windows, programmable thermostats and 13 SEER air conditioners.

As residents of the Rhodes Ranch master plan, Pacific Mist homeowners have access to the 35,000-square-foot R Club recreation center.

Rhodes Ranch's Fun Zone water park is one of the largest in the city and scheduled to open later this month for the summer.

The Fun Zone is a 13,000-square-foot lagoon pool with wading areas, a 10,000-square-foot water park with three-speed slides, five kid slides, rope bridges and multiple squirt gun stations.

Located adjacent to the R Club, it also includes a 25-meter lap pool, two eight-person spas, a 12-person group spa, four large covered cabanas, one exterior lighted basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, four lighted tennis courts and a playground with activity structures.

The Rhodes Ranch Golf Club has become one of the hottest golf destinations in Las Vegas. Designed by architect Ted Robinson, the par-72 course was named a Best Value by Vegas Golfer magazine and envelops players in its lush tropical surroundings.

Rhodes Homes has built more than 6,000 homes in the Las Vegas Valley during the past two decades and is developing 16 communities throughout the city.

To visit Pacific Mist at Rhodes Ranch, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive and drive south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway. Head west on Rhodes Ranch Parkway and follow the signs to Palms Bay.

The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
