Richmond American spreads across valley

Richmond American offers more than 40 neighborhoods across Las Vegas, with a range of floor plans to fit differing lifestyles, according to Nicole Bloom, vice president of sales for the builder's Las Vegas North Division.

"There's no doubt about it: This is a great time to buy a new home," Bloom said. "The value and choices available right now are unprecedented. We have new homes from the mid-$100,000s, and the best thing is, you can take advantage of spectacular prices without sacrificing the quality Richmond American is known for."

Model homes are available for touring at communities across the valley.

Floor plans range from two-bedroom homes with 1,100 square feet, to six-bedroom designs that measure 4,000 square feet. Quick move-in homes are currently available.

Sales centers and model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Friday when they open at noon.

The builder's floor plans are presented in collections. First-time buyers often find the Cherry Lane Collection to be ideal, according to Bloom.

Priced from the low $200,000s, these floor plans offer open, flowing layouts, with 1,300 to 1,750 square feet, three to four bedrooms and 21/2 to 31/2 baths.

The Collection includes four two-story floor plans: the Mahogany, Lambert, Ranier and Lapin.

The homes are featured at several communities across the Valley, including Cherry Lane II, Benton and Cantata in eastern Las Vegas; Highland Grove and Hillcrest in the northwest; and Sagecrest and Murano in the southwest.

Growing families may appreciate the Valhalla Collection, Bloom said, offered exclusively at the gated community of Valhalla Estates in central Las Vegas.

The single- and two-story residences measure 2,800 to 4,000 square feet and contain three to six bedrooms, 31/2 to 41/2 baths and three- to five-car garages. Most lots measure 10,000 square feet or more.

Prices start from the high $500,000s.

The Mosaic Collection features three-story floor plans ranging from 1,550 to 1,950 square feet, and containing three to four bedrooms and 21/2 to 31/2 baths.

Main floors feature an open layout with a great room, kitchen, dining room and balcony, while the upper and lower levels offer bedrooms, a laundry room, and a bonus room or media room.

Four floor plans are available: the Amethyst, Jasper, Aventurine and Onyx. The homes are priced from the mid-$200,000s and are available at Bonita Vista and Greenwood in the northwest valley; Crescent Valley and Santa Rita in the southwest; and Tuscano in the southeast.

Richmond American offers a total of 25 collections throughout the valley.
