Richmond American to celebrate grand opening within Starlight Trails

Richmond American is celebrating the opening of three new model homes today at Starlight Trails. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., visitors can enjoy complimentary food and refreshments while touring a total of seven model homes.

Grand opening specials will be in effect all weekend, and buyers can take advantage of additional savings with Richmond American's Gold Star Event, according to sales agent Amy Arbeli.

Visitors can also enter a contest to win an Ipod.

A "We're really excited about the grand opening because these are the first models of these plans to be built anywhere in Las Vegas. The plans are from our Evergreen Collection, and each home offers something unique," Arbeli said.

"The Juniper and the Cedar both have an optional bedroom on the first floor, which a lot of people love because of the convenience. The space is utilized really well, making use of every square foot. The Spruce has a striking entrance with volume ceilings in the formal living room, and larger families appreciate the option of a fifth bedroom or loft upstairs."

Starlight Trails is located at Windmill Lane and Warbonnet Way. Priced from the $290,000s, the community offers two-story homes ranging from 1,550 to 2,350 square feet, with three to five bedrooms and 21/2 to three baths. The floor plans are from three different Richmond American Collections: Evergreen, Arbor and Cherry.

The largest floor plan in the Evergreen Collection is the Spruce, featuring four bedrooms, 21/2 baths and 2,000 square feet. The second level offers an optional loft or a fifth bedroom with a walk-in closet. The main level features a formal living room with volume ceilings, family room, dining room, nook and kitchen with an optional food-preparation island. The Spruce is priced from the $330,000s.

The Juniper and the Cedar both feature three bedrooms and 21/2 baths, with an optional fourth bedroom available on the first floor. Priced from the $330,000s, the 1,900-square-foot Juniper features two-story ceilings in the entry. The family room, kitchen and nook offer an open layout.

Other highlights include a formal dining room or optional fourth bedroom, an upstairs laundry room, and a master suite across the hall from the secondary bedrooms.

Priced from the low $300,000s, the Cedar is a 1,600-square-foot home offering a family room off the entry, a U-shaped kitchen with a nook, and a dining room.

Home buyers can opt for a fourth bedroom or a den in lieu of the dining room. Upstairs, residents will enjoy a convenient layout with a master suite with private bath and walk-in closet, a laundry room, and two secondary bedrooms that each feature an entrance to an adjoining bathroom.

"Now that these new models are open, buyers can tour all seven of our floor plans," Amy Arbeli explained. "Starlight Trails offers such a wide variety of designs, it's easy for everyone to find a home to fit their lifestyle. All three plans in the Arbor Collection include a study and a loft, and one plan offers an optional deck. The Ranier is from our Cherry Lane Collection and gives buyers a chance to take advantage of exceptional value."

Priced from the $290,000s, the Ranier features four bedrooms, 21/2 baths and 1,550 square feet. The entryway of this home is enhanced by volume ceilings, while the kitchen is distinguished by a breakfast bar and adjacent dining room. Upstairs, buyers can choose an optional loft in lieu of the fourth bedroom.

The Arbor Collection includes the Willow, Maple and Cottonwood. Priced from the low $300,000s, the Cottonwood offers a unique layout with a study, three bedrooms and a full bath on the main level. On the upper level is the master bedroom suite with a private bath and deck, a laundry room, gourmet kitchen, dining room and family room.

The Maple is a three-bedroom home with 21/2 baths and 1,700 square feet. This home features an open layout with the kitchen flowing into the family room and dining room. The second floor features a loft at the top of the stairs. The Maple is priced from the $310,000s.

The largest floor plan is the Willow, which features a circular entry. The second floor has a tech center and a loft. Featuring 2,050 square feet, three bedrooms and 21/2 baths, the Willow is priced from the $340,000s.
