Fresh of reporting he raised $2.6 million in 2009, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid headed north for some grass roots outreach.

Reid, chairman of the Clark County Commission is spending Saturday at the Wigwam Restaurant and Casino Fernley then hosting a house party in Fallon.

Topics include increasing economic diversity and decreasing foreclosures in Nevada. Reid's fund raising lead over Republican Brian Sandoval, who reported about $756,000 on hand, gives Reid the chance to spend more time doing voter outreach.
