Rupert Murdoch’s thoughts on paid Internet news, Glenn Beck, Obama, Australia et al

For the weekend enjoyment of The Complete Las Vegan's readership, pull up a chair and a hot cup of coffee (or your favorite "thinking beverage") and view this interview with 78-year-old Rupert Murdoch. Early on he offers his thoughts on paid Internet news. I found that interesting.

As a sidebar, I'd love to know where all those Internet "journalists" who predicted the end of the world for newspapers have skittered off to in this recession. Truth is, advertising-based newspapers are surviving and advertising-based Internet sites are dying. No more so than in Las Vegas.

But many will want to skip ahead to about minute 15. At that point he talks about the immense popularity of Fox News, the phenomenon that is Glenn Beck, gives an assessment of President Obama (he's doing awful) and whether we're out of the worldwide economic recession (we're not).

Listen. Learn. Enjoy.
