Ryland Homes opens designs

Inspired by a classic American literary theme of westward exploration, Providence master-planned community sponsors a variety of events such as the Providence Children's Literacy Festival and the community is adorned with statues and statuary honoring great American authors in the tradition of storytelling in the American West.

Building within the northwest master-planned community, Ryland Homes offers the neighborhoods of Auburn and Bradford.

With floor plans ranging from 2,071 to 2,970 square feet, Auburn is a collection of two- and three-story residences with four home designs in up to four bedrooms and three baths and two-car garages.

Centered on a great-room layout, the designs a two-level owner's suite with sitting room and walk-in closets, GE-equipped kitchen area and a third story vista room, in select plans. The homes are priced from the mid-$300,000s.

Ryland's Bradford neighborhood offers four home designs in three architectural finishes. Floor plans range from three to four bedrooms in up to 3,099 square feet.

Featuring one- and two-story designs, the homes offer courtyard areas and patio and deck options.

The largest design offers an option for a fifth bedroom and fourth bath, as well as an expanded master suite that leads to both a private retreat and deck.

Kitchens are equipped with durable countertops, oak cabinetry and GE appliances.

Prices begin in the low $300,000s.

"With eight different home designs available, there's a floor plan for every type of buyer," said Catherine Rabajoie, sales agent for Auburn and Bradford. "The models are interesting inside as well as on the outside, with architectural details that create curb appeal from all sides, not just from the front."

The 1,200-acre community offers recreational opportunities in addition to shopping, dining and entertainment.

The community will have its own old-fashioned ballparks, jogging paths and tree-lined avenues.

The community centerpiece will be the Promenade, a park linking several neighborhoods, as well as a network of pocket parks and trails.

To tour Auburn and Bradford at Providence, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and exit Hualapai Way north. Head West on Dorrell Lane and South on Shaumber. Turn right on Barnacle Avenue, right on Ditmars Street and right on Sheepshead Bay.
