Ryland turns spotlight on single-story designs

While the idea of a multi-story home with a sweeping staircase may appeal to some, many buyers are rediscovering the advantages of a single-story home. To satisfy this growing demand, Ryland Homes, with its 11 neighborhoods and 43 home designs, has a number of single-story homes in the Las Vegas Valley available for quick move-in.

At the Mountain's Edge master-planned community, Ryland offers two choices for those looking to move into a single-story home by year's end. Located in the builder's Augusta neighborhood, the Shasta on home site No. 205 is a 2,508-square-foot residence with three bedrooms, three baths and a three-car garage. Complete with a breakfast nook, the home features a family room, living room and dining room.

Home site No. 205 is available for $476,151 with no SID fees, marketing manager Ashley Gant said. It has more than $56,000 in options, including upgraded flooring, upgraded kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

The Rainier Residence on home site No. 87 is another single-story home available for quick move-in. Priced at $293,990 with no SID fees, the 1,756-square-foot single-story home is available at Ryland Homes' Ellingwood neighborhood, also at Mountain's Edge.

Ellingwood home site No. 87 features more than $19,000 in options, including upgraded kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and two-tone paint.

To visit Ryland Homes' Augusta and Ellingwood at Mountain's Edge, take I-215, the Las Vegas Beltway, and exit Durango Drive south to Blue Diamond Road, turn right on Blue Diamond, left on El Capitan Way, and right on Sacramento Hills Avenue. Call 219-7413 for more information.
