While the idea of a multi-story home with a sweeping staircase may appeal to some, many buyers are rediscovering the advantages of a single-story home. At the Mountain's Edge master-planned community, Ryland offers two choices for those looking to move into a single-story home by year's end. The Rainier Residence on home site No. 87 is another single-story home available for quick move-in. Priced at $293,990 with no SID fees, the 1,756-square-foot single-story home is available at Ryland Homes' Ellingwood neighborhood, also at Mountain's Edge.

Ellingwood home site No. 87 features more than $19,000 in options, including upgraded kitchen cabinets, granite countertops and two-tone paint.
