Sandoval makes deputy chief, press secretary and other appointments

Gov.-elect Brian Sandoval on Monday announced several appointments to his staff.

Among them, Ann Wilkinson, currently Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Henderson, will be Deputy Chief of Staff in Sandoval’s administration.

Wilkinson worked for Sandoval from 2002-05 while he was Attorney General of Nevada.

Mary-Sarah Kinner will be Press Secretary. Kinner was Sandoval's press spokeswoman during his gubernatorial campaign.

Sandoval also announced he would retain three high-ranking officials from the administration of Gov. Jim Gibbons.

They are; Susan Martinovich, Director of the Department of Transportation, Larry Mosley, Director of the Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation and Mike Willden, Director of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Martinovich has been with the DOT more than 26 years and director since 2007. Mosely has been director of DETR since 2007, following a stint as diversity director for College of Southern Nevada. Willden has been HHS director since 2001, following work as state welfare administrator.
