Sandoval sets up suggestion box

Hey inveterate Internet commenters, there's someone out there who wants your two cents.

Gov.-elect Brian Sandoval on Friday launched a transition Web site that includes a suggestion box for Nevadans to share their ideas to help the state get back on it's feet.

"On election night, Governor-elect Sandoval assured the voters that 'Nevada's best days are yet to come.' You can play a role in fulfilling that promise," the site says. "Send us your suggestions for how to improve state government and get Nevada working again."

Other highlights of the site include a compilation of Sandoval press releases under "news" and -- for the unemployed, who are legion in Nevada -- to apply for jobs with the incoming administration. Unfortunately, most jobs don't include salaries.

"To deliver the services and results Nevadans deserve, Governor-elect Sandoval will need a team of qualified and energetic employees, as well as appointed members of state boards and commissions (most of whom work without compensation)," according to the site.
