School bells ring within Giavanna
October 6, 2007 - 9:00 pm
A neighborhood with a new elementary school within walking distance of every home appeals to buyers with school-age children, according to Centex Homes sales executive Carole Laman.
D.L. "Dusty" Dickens Elementary School, a Clark County School District facility located within the Giavanna neighborhood in North Las Vegas, opened its doors for the first time in August.
"The elementary school is highly convenient for Giavanna homeowners, whether their children attend or they personally work at the school," Laman said.
Interest in Giavanna has been strong among people with children already enrolled at Dickens who want to live closer to the school, Laman said.
"People whose children attend Dickens Elementary are often spurred to purchase at Giavanna, even if it means moving just up the street or from a nearby community," Laman said.
Buyers can select from a variety of single- and two-story floor plans at Giavanna I and II. Layouts range from 1,200 to 1,990 square feet.
Giavanna III features four home designs ranging from 1,263 to 1,992 square feet.
