Sharron Angle back on the red carpet

Sharron Angle must really like "The Genesis Code." The former Nevada assemblywoman and Tea Party favorite "will be headlining" the film's premiere in South Carolina on Feb. 18, film promoters say.
Angle, whose profile among conservatives skyrocketed during her unsuccessful attempt to unseat Nevada. Sen. Harry Reid, last fall, was in Des Moines last month for the debut of what promoters call "the Christian movie of the year."
The Nevadan has not announced any specific plans in the wake of her Senate campaign, which only is provoking speculation. Interestingly, Iowa and South Carolina are both early states on the 2012 presidential campaign calendar..... and while the movie also is opening in Cincinnati, Peoria, Ill., Denver and Detroit, Angle is heading to Columbia, S.C.
“It’s Sharron Angle’s second trip to a premiere of The Genesis Code, and we think she won’t be our only repeat viewer,” the Rev. Jerry Zandstra, one of the stars of the movie, said in a press release.
