Shea Homes at Ardiente offers owners resort-style clubhouse

Shea Homes at Ardiente, an age-qualified community in North Las Vegas, offers a private 20,000-square-foot clubhouse featuring two resort-style pools, fitness center, group exercise studio and access to miles of walking trails.

“A huge selling point for us were the amenities at the clubhouse,” said homeowner Tom Giangreco.

Located near the Las Vegas Strip and close to the desert mountains, residents of Shea Homes at Ardiente have access to tennis courts for single or tournament play, a resort-style pool and spa, bocce courts, seven parks with interconnected walking trails, a Life Trail course with 24 fitness stations, two chipping and putting greens and an outdoor basketball court.

Shea Homes at Ardiente also offers the SheaXero — No Electric Bill Home in the community.

Ardiente’s community manager, Kyle Tibbitts, said homeowners want the best of both worlds when it comes to retirement — to enjoy a luxurious, resort-style community while also having the practicality of living nearly electric-bill free with a SheaXero home.

Through a blend of energy-efficient features and solar power, SheaXero homes help eliminate monthly electric bills and save homeowners thousands of dollars a year, Tibbitts said.

With its 14 energy-saving features (including Whirlpool Energy Star appliances, Trane energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, low-e vinyl windows and blown-in insulation), SheaXero frees homeowners from escalating energy costs, he said.

In fact, nationwide, current SheaXero homeowners will collectively save more than $9.2 million on their electric bills during the next decade, Tibbitts said.

That translates into savings of as much as $3,000 a year on monthly electric bills, he said.

The positive impact on the environment is another benefit of SheaXero. During the next decade, the 1,000 SheaXero homes sold to date will save 84.8 million pounds of carbon dioxide, which is equivalent to taking more than 8,000 cars off the road or planting more than 720,000 trees — enough trees to fill Central Park 30 times.

Trilogy by Shea Homes has been named No. 1 in the nation in the Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builders in America Study.

Tibbits said Ardiente, a part of the Trilogy family, is extremely proud of its customer satisfaction record placing it top among the Trilogy family of communities.
