‘Shish, boom, bah’ for Dina Titus

Rep. Dina Titus is locked in a surprisingly tough battle with former Republican state Sen. Joe Heck and here's the headline the Sun uses on an analysis of her race: "Dina Titus and her unfortunate run of political bad luck".

Unfortunate?

That's a sympathetic way to put it. Unfortunate for whom? And, her tough race with voters wouldn't have anything to do with her actions and votes while in office, would it? Like that car insurance commercial in which Abraham Lincoln's wife asks him whether her dress makes her backside look big: "Just a little, maybe."

But perhaps I'm too critical. It is, after all, hard to write with pom-poms in your hands.
