SHOOTING STARS EXTRA: Christmas TV benefit set for Sunday

A sure sign that it's holiday time: the annual taping of "Merry Christmas Las Vegas."

The benefit show, featuring musicians, magicians and impersonators, will be staged at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Embassy Theatre at Las Vegas Rocks Cafe, 450 Fremont St.

Among the performers: rocker Domenick Allen, magician Fielding West, the Las Vegas Young Entertainers and Tony Sacca, host of TV's "Entertainment Las Vegas Style," who organizes the annual showcase to finance the Young Entertainers' yearly trek to Washington, D.C., to perform at holiday celebrations in the capital.

Tax-deductible tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and are available by calling 364-8669.
