SHOOTING STARS EXTRA: What happens in Vegas winds up on ‘Today’

  What's a vacation without a little Vegas?
That's a question NBC's "Today Show" doesn't need to answer, because Las Vegas is one of four destinations during next week's "Today Takes a Vacation" shows.
Thursday, July 30, is V-Day for Natalie Morales (co-anchor of "Today's" fourth hour) and Amy Robach (who co-anchors "Today's" weekend edition). They're scheduled to broadcast live from Caesars Palace's Pure nightclub; Flamingo headliners Donny and Marie Osmond are among the expected guests.
During the week, various "Today" staff members will visit Lake George, N.Y., Key West, Fla., and San Antonio, Texas.
Watch for more details in Monday's Shooting Stars ...
