Slow play in the first hour

The first hour at the World Series of Poker’s Main Event saw little action and tight play.

The 28th hand produced the first turn and river cards, with Eric Buchman taking a large pot from Jeff Shulman.

At the hour break, the chip count was: Darvin Moon, 61.53 million; Eric Buchman, 39.82 million; Steve Begleiter, 31.175 million; Jeff Shulman, 15.5 million; Joe Cada, 11.835 million; Kevin Schaffel, 10.89 million; *Antoine Saout: 10.62 million; Phil Ivey, 10 million; and James Akenhead, 3.445 million.
