Smile for Survivors’ fundraiser brings in $7,000

The Smiles for Survivors Foundation raised nearly $7,000 at its Smile in Style benefit, which was hosted by Neiman Marcus on Feb. 23. Serving as a kickoff for the retailer’s annual Beauty Week, the event drew more than 100 people. Funds raised will remain in Nevada to support breast cancer patients and survivors suffering from the debilitating oral side effects of chemotherapy and radiation.
“Neiman Marcus has been a tremendous ally in raising awareness of the potentially devastating oral impact of cancer treatments and in assisting local breast cancer patients and survivors,” says Dr. Olya Banchik, the Summerlin dentist who founded the nonprofit. “We are grateful to have a partner so committed to the well-being of women in our community.”
Neiman Marcus and Cadillac of Las Vegas sponsored the Smile in Style event.
