Snarky Keith Olberman vs. pithy Bill O’Reilly

If you're not much into cable news shows, you may not know much about Bill O'Reilly or Keith Olbermann. And, I'm not going to attempt to catch you up here. Suffice to say that one's a lefty (KO) and the other's a righty pretending to be an independent (BO). If you're a news junkie, they are both worth watching, though it must be said that BO is watched in far greater numbers than KO.

As you know from a previous post, Sen. Hillary Clinton appeared on the Bill O'Reilly show last week. The totalitarian left went wild (as free speech for them is seen as a traitorous act). And Keith Olbermann amplified that semi-Nazi sentiment in a recent blog in which he said the BO interview of HRC was "yawny" and done only because it provided her "serious free television time". He went on to criticize BO for calling his interview a "world exclusive" when in fact HRC had appeared on his show earlier.

I thought the HRC interview on "The O'Reilly Factor" was pretty good. O'Reilly has a way to eliciting no-horseapples answers from interviewees (much better than KO, by the way) and on several occasions he did that with HRC. Also, I thought HRC handled herself extremely well and I'll bet the interview gave her a good introduction to independent voters in Indiana.

But here's the test: Does anyone remember Keith Olbermann's interview with Sen. Clinton? The answer to that tells you everything you need to know about the difference between snarky Keith Oberman and pithy Bill O'Reilly.
