CLASS TO TEACH BASICS OF BABY CARE
University Medical Center plans a class on newborn baby care from 6 to 8 p.m. July 3 at the Family Resource Center, 1120 Shadow Lane.
Topics are set to include baby behavior, temperament and personality; crying and calming; growth and development; and post-delivery care.

BLOOD DRIVE SET A SPRING VALLEY LIBRARY
The Spring Valley Library, 4280 S. Jones Blvd., is scheduled to host a United Blood Services blood drive from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 5.
Donors will receive a free cholesterol test and 600 bonus points that can be redeemed for prizes in the United Blood Services Hero Rewards program.
