OPEN HOUSE PLANNED JUNE 3 TO DISCUSS SPRING VALLEY LAND USE PLAN

Clark County officials plan an open house from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 3 at the Desert Breeze Community Center, 8275 Spring Mountain Road, to gather input regarding the Spring Valley Land Use Plan.

Requests to make changes to the plan are set to be presented before the Spring Valley Town Advisory Board, the Clark County Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners at a later date.

The Spring Valley Town Advisory Board is set to meet June 24 and July 29 to discuss the plan. Public hearings are scheduled for Aug. 19 and Sept. 17. Times and locations are to be announced.

LIBRARY TO OFFER COMPUTER CLASS

The West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd., plans a computer class from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 4.

Participants are set to learn how to manage email accounts and file attachments. Reservations are required.
