Speakeasy with the Mob returns
Grab your fedora, but leave the gun at home: It’s time once again for "Speakeasy with the Mob," a dinner and show starring a trio of infamous underworld characters: Frank Cullotta, Henry Hill, and Tony Montana.
Cullotta is an admitted hitman who once worked with the late Tony Spilotro. Henry Hill's life story was retold in "Goodfellas." And Montana is a longtime local with ties to Spilotro and the Chicago underworld.
The dinner is set for 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at Barrymore’s inside the Royal Resort on Convention Center Drive. Price is $60, and for that you also get access to a 9 p.m. screening of Sal Polisi’s gangster picture "Ubatz" (That’s "crazy" to you and me.) Polisi helped create the movie "The Sinatra Club."
Dinner, a gangster chat, and a mobster movie. If that’s not enough to get you put in the Witness Protection Program, fahgetaboutit.
