Stop the presses: Angle grants interview to Reno newspaper

While Senate candidate Sharron Angle was busy ducking out of interviews with the Review-Journal editorial board and the “Nevada Newsmakers” television show this week, she did manage to grant an exclusive interview to Ray Hagar of the Reno Gazette-Journal. Angle has been so elusive that the newspaper chose to tout the Sunday story on the front page of its Saturday edition.

This would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

Angle has tanked badly in the polls in recent weeks. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s campaign has taken advantage of her comments made to mostly friendly media to skewer her in effective television spots.

If this is Team Angle's expert strategy to win election, I think it's time for Plan B.
