Sue Lowden victim of online attack ad

An ad on Google today derisively referring to Republican senate candidate Sue Lowden as a, "Harry Reid Republican," prompted speculation that candidates in the Republican primary were beginning to attack each other. The ad didn't disclose a source and linked to a Politico article that quoted Reid praising Lowden.

It's no secret that in the 1980s Lowden and her husband, casino owner Paul Lowden, made thousands of dollars in contributions to to Reid.

Lowden discussed the subject last week when she announced her campaign to challenge for Reid's senate seat.

"Early on in the 80s when he was independent, we did feel that he was representing Nevada. We are a little state and we did feel that he was a voice for our little state," Lowden said.
