Sullivan Square streams progress

Sullivan Square will soon make it possible to keep up with construction progress on its new Las Vegas neighborhood. Whether across town or around the globe, future residents will be able to check in on the mixed-use community's progress 24 hours a day, seven days a week via streaming live video on its webcam. The service debuts next week at sullivansquare.net.

After its launch, the public will be able to view construction teams excavating and processing 250,000 tons of material to make way for the development's underground parking structure and utilities on the 16.5-acre site.

While the technology has become popular for major projects in historical, metropolitan cities such as Chicago and New York, only a handful are offered for projects in Las Vegas.

"Sullivan Square's future residents are especially interested in seeing real time construction progress on their new neighborhood," said Darby Fitzpatrick, director of marketing for Glen, Smith & Glen Development. "Our Web site also offers other ways to immerse future residents in the Sullivan Square lifestyle."

In addition to the live webcam, the development's Web site offers a virtual tour, allowing the viewer to experience what the community will be like once completed.

"The virtual tour takes the viewer inside the neighborhood -- allowing them to experience market street and central park, while exploring the architecture of the residential buildings," Fitzpatrick said. "With both the virtual tour and live webcam, future residents have the capability to share their new neighborhood with family and friends."

Website visitors can sign up for a quarterly e-newsletter providing project updates, images and news about the new community. The Web site also offers video interviews with the developers of the project, in addition to home descriptions and sales information.

Upon completion, Sullivan Square will offer 1,300 residences ranging from 500 to 2,000 square feet in the first phase, with prices from the low $300,000s to $1.7 million. Traditional brownstones, live/work spaces and residences within the project's first high-rise condominium tower, Madison I, are available.

Mid-rise terraced condominiums, Chicago-style lofts and townhomes will complete the development's six options for urban living. The development will center on a market street thoroughfare filled with 25 locally owned shops and services, a 1.5-acre central park and a dog park.

The Sullivan Square sales center is located at 8930 Spanish Ridge Ave. and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily. To visit from Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Russell Road and head north on Frontage Road. Turn east on Hacienda Avenue and south into The Park at Spanish Ridge.

For more information, call the sales center at 733-1108, or visit sullivansquare.net.

Glen, Smith & Glen Development and Harcourt Developments are developing the project. Glen, Smith & Glen Development is a Las Vegas-based commercial and residential development firm and Harcourt Developments is a Dublin, Ireland-based international property development, investment and management company.
