Summerlin Centre aims for variety

Located in the heart of the Summerlin master-planned community, the village of Summerlin Centre features dozens of model homes in eight neighborhoods, all situated within walking distance of each other.

"Home buyers have convenient access to several of Summerlin's most diverse and popular floor plans in Summerlin Centre," Nikkole Liesse, marketing director for The Howard Hughes Corp.. said. "It's a great place to park the car and stroll through a variety of model homes, including single family homes, townhomes and even Summerlin's first loft project."

More than 50 floor plans are selling in Summerlin Centre in the following neighborhoods: Cypress and Palmilla at Allerton Park by Woodside Homes; C2 Lofts by A Christopher Company; Traccia's Balboa, Huntington and Newport Collections by Toll Brothers; Montage and Travata at West Park by Ryland Homes; and West Park Courtyards and Villas by William Lyon Homes.

Floor plans range from 937 to 3,175 square feet and prices range from the upper $200,000s to more than $1 million.

Summerlin Centre is a 1,300-acre mixed-use village positioned as the "downtown" of Summerlin.

The village will ultimately be home to many of the community's most popular amenities, including a nearly 2 million-square-foot regional retail center, a series of public plazas where events such as cultural performances and civic events will be staged, a non-gaming luxury hotel, a wide variety of dining and entertainment options, a diverse collection of residential neighborhoods, and 400,000 square feet of office space.

The village features residential neighborhoods, retail centers, office parks, Summerlin Centre Community Park, Village Green Park, dozens of neighborhood parks, private and public schools and the $1 billion Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa.

Developed by The Howard Hughes Corp., an affiliate of General Growth Properties Inc., Summerlin began to take shape in 1990 and encompasses 22,500 acres with about 9,000 acres still remaining to accommodate future growth within the master plan.

The community is currently home to more than 95,000 residents and includes more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 150 completed miles of the Summerlin trail system, nine golf courses, a dozen houses of worship, shopping centers, medical and cultural facilities, business parks, 22 public and private schools and more than 100 actively selling floor plans.

Single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and lofts are available. Prices from the high $200,000s to more than $2 million.

Custom home sites in The Ridges are priced from the $500,000s.

Luxury apartment homes offer monthly rents starting from the $900s.
