Tea Partiers: Stay ‘peaceful and focused’

"If you are going to Searchlight tomorrow, and I certainly hope that you are, I have been advised that there will be a significant police presence there, both uniformed and plain clothes, because it is anticipated that both Hispanic and Black groups are planning to attend. Treat everyone with courtesy. Under no circumstances should you... allow yourselves to be heckled into a disturbance. I am sure that the METRO bus will also be on hand to transport anyone who is arrested back to Las Vegas at no cost.

"Tea Parties have always been a peaceful way to demonstrate against the radicals in Washington, and we need to help keep it that way. If someone accosts YOU or get's in your face, scream for help from the police. Let them get a free ride back to Las Vegas, not you, and please pass this information to everyone you know who is attending. If you are taking one of the charter busses, ask for an announcement to be made on board. We must remain peaceful and focused."
