Team Ford visited by top company exec

Mark Fields, executive vice president of Ford Motor Co. and president of The Americas, came to Team Ford Lincoln recently to recognize Team Ford Lincoln as an outstanding Dealer Partner. Fields met with Steve Olliges, president of Team Ford Lincoln, as well as the entire staff and delivered one consistent message: Partnership is the key to success.

"Ford Motor Co. wants to recognize our dealers as our partners," Fields said. "Ford is changing the game in product and technology and is putting that in the hands of Team Ford Lincoln and other dealership partners like them."

Fields formerly served as executive vice president of Ford of Europe and Premier Automotive Group, where he led all activities for Ford's premium vehicle business group and for Ford-brand vehicles manufactured and sold in European countries. Prior to that, Fields was chairman and chief executive officer of PAG.

Fields joined Ford Motor Co. in July 1989. From 2000-2002, he was president and chief executive officer of Mazda Motor Co., leading the company through a period of significant transformation. He previously held a number of positions in both South and North America, including managing director of Ford Argentina.

Fields was named a Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 2000 and CNBC's Asian Business Leader -- Innovator of the Year for 2001. He holds an economics degree from Rutgers University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Team Ford Lincoln is located at 5445 Drexel Road, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 95 and Ann Road. Team Ford Lincoln is the No. 1 selling Ford Dealership in total retail sales for three year in a row.
