Thanks for nothin’, Nancy

If there is one thing we know about the Democrat controlled Congress it is that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate leader Harry Reid are absolutely incapable to doing anything when it counts in a bipartisan fashion. They simply do not have bipartisanship in their DNA.
The bail-out plan today went down in flames after Pelosi trashed President Bush on the House floor. At that point, she didn't even have her own party in line on the vote. What did she think was going to happen to the Republicans who were sitting on the fence? It was unbelievably bad judgment.
Take a look at Nancy in action here.
Ironically, they have now created an environment in which the American people are so scared for their economic future that it actually works against Barack Obama. His economic policies now look far more risky and dangerous to the middle class American than McCain's. McCain is at least a known quantity. With Obama, his plans for capital gains tax increases and other tax-and-spend ideas look like a sure recipe for sending the country into a depression. That real fear will make Americans less likely to take a chance on Obama. Plus, can America really afford a Democrat in the White House when the likes of Peloi and Reid run Congress.
Many will rightly say "NO".
