‘The Apprentice’ comes to Las Vegas
Stefanie Schaeffer is bringing the style and business savvy that won her NBC's 2007 "The Apprentice" to Las Vegas as vice president of marketing for Trump International Hotel & Towers Las Vegas.
"Trump Las Vegas will bring a new level of luxury and sophistication to the Strip," Schaeffer said. "I had the pleasure of creating a marketing program for the announcement of Tower II during 'The Apprentice' and I could not be more excited to be putting that plan into action."
Schaeffer, who also oversees construction and development for Trump's project in Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic, will spend most of her time in Las Vegas.
"I'm looking forward to getting to know Las Vegas better and becoming a true member of the community," said Schaeffer, who started her job at Trump Las Vegas in September.
Prior to becoming "The Apprentice," Schaeffer, an attorney, served as a trial lawyer for a California law firm, defending employers against workers' compensation claims. Her background also includes experience defending real estate developers in construction defect litigation.
Los Angeles magazine recognized Schaeffer for excellence in law, naming her a Super Lawyers Young Rising Star in both 2006 and 2007.
Schaeffer graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a double major in English and psychology in 1996. She went on to attend the SCALE program (Southwestern's Conceptual Approach to Legal Education) at Southwestern University School of Law, where she earned a jurisprudence doctorate.
Trump Las Vegas will include a signature restaurant; spa and salon; business center with meeting facilities and a heated outdoor pool with a sundeck and bar. All guests and residents of Trump Las Vegas will have access to 24-hour concierge, doormen and valet parking services.
Tower I, which is set to open in early 2008, will contain 1,282 rooms, including studio units, one-bedroom units and one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites. Tower II will offer 1,280 rooms and is scheduled to break ground in late 2008.
