The better Angle

The wonderful and mysterious Nevada electorate picked an outsider to do battle with Sen. Harry Reid, the most powerful insider ever elected from the state.

Sharron Angle isn't particularly loved by Republicans, but she's not hated either. She's just new and she definitely comes from the right side of a state that can be pretty damn politically right when it wants to be (amen, than you very much).

The question now isn't how much Nevada voters love Sharron Angle. The question is how much Nevada voters hate Harry Reid.

If the Review-Journal polls over the last two years are any indication (and I think they are), the answer doesn't bode well for Sen. Reid.
