The ‘Harry being Harry’ excuse wears thin

I hope you'll join me Sunday in the Las Vegas Review-Journal as I explore what's up with the rash of inappropriate statements blurted out by Sen. Harry Reid. It's the talk of the state, especially after last week when he called a young female fellow senator the "hottest member" of the U.S. Senate.

What's happened to Nevada's senior senator? Has he lost his "inside voice"?

Even for Reid supporters, that's so far over the line it can't be justified.

You can find my thoughts -- and my worries -- about his many verbal lapses of late in my column in the Viewpoint section of the newspaper. And, you can link to it here.

See you Sunday.
