The Obama threat in a nutshell: ‘I know he’s not done yet’
July 31, 2012 - 11:47 am
Julian Castro will open the Democratic Convention. You can see him in the video below invite all to tune in.
First, I'd be remiss if I didn't say that Mayor Castro projects a great video image and I can see why he is a popular mayor and he's getting the nod to showcase himself in makeup on national TV.
But he makes one mistake in his invite. In the video he tells viewers that we must re-elect Barack Obama because "I know he's not done yet."
Brothers and sisters, if that doesn't put the fear of Obama into you, nothing will.
I don't know how much more ineptness on the economy we can take from Team Obama.
It's why the 2012 election will be far different than the 2008 election. It's why you hardly see any more "Obama 08" bumper stickers anymore. It's why this election, which usually is an easy election for an incumbent, is far more competitive than Democrats want it to be. They'd like Republicans to run a McCain-style campaign. But they are going to get the Romney treatment instead. And they don't like the sting of the truth about the economy shouted from the rooftops.
That truth embodies the fear that, as Mayor Castro rightly points out, if President Obama is re-elected ... he's not done yet.
