The Obama Way — Don’t work; get money for free

When President Obama waived the work requirement for welfare recipients he said that it would not "gut" the 1996 welfare reform law enacted by President Clinton.

To be kind, he misjudged. To be accurate, he lied.

Preliminary numbers only now available in a new report from the Congressional Research Service and obtained by the Washington Examiner "suggest that the administration's suspension of a separate welfare work requirement has already helped explode the number of able-bodied Americans on food stamps."

You can read the story here. For those of you who like to read the original report (and bless you for doing so) you can find a link there as well.

President Obama goes far beyond the safety-net concept of government help everyone supports. He's the president of getting stuff flat-out for free (no work required). If are one of those Americans who still believe in working for a living and still hope that your children will be better off than you, be afraid. Very afraid.
