‘The Pagan Stone’ by Nora Roberts

  Nora Roberts' "The Pagan Stone" is book three in the "Sign of Seven Trilogy."
  In this book, the story centers around Gage Turner and Cybil Kinski. Gage is a gambler who travels all over the world looking for that next "game" but always comes back to the Hollow for the Seven. Cybil Kinski does freelance writing for different publications. They both share the ability to see events from the future and are able to change what will happen. Like the other members of their group, they are needed to defeat the big evil that wreaks havoc on the town of Hollow every seventh year, during the seventh month for seven days.
  The big evil is stronger this year and after receiving visits from ghostly visitors from the past, the team is faced with the decision of who will be the human sacrifice that is part of the ritual to destroy the big evil.
  Find out what kind of mischief the big evil causes and how he controls other townspeople to do his dirty work. Discover who is actually sacrificed and experience the growing love between two people who are really fighting the inevitable.
  This trilogy is one of the best by Nora Roberts and I give two thumbs up for this one!
