THE SHOW MUST GO ON — AND DID!

The Las Vegas Tenors showed their show-business mettle on Sunday.

Bill Fayne, Bobby Black and newcomer Chris Coyne received a standing ovation from a near-capacity audience after overcoming a show-must-go-on crisis.

Already down one member -- Mark Giovi had already given notice that he would not be singing -- the remaining three tenors invited Coyne, lead singer in the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana Hotel, to be a guest tenor. Early Saturday morning Fayne, founding member of the group along with Black, received a phone call from Teddy Davey, the third founding member, that he was at Summerlin Hospital facing emergency surgery for a gall bladder. Fayne, Black and Coyne immediately went to work re-arranging the entire show, including a new Beatles medley.

Showgoers gave them a huge ovation for their dedication.
